fixie bikes

what makes fixie bikes different than your ordinary ones?  are fixie bikes better or are they inferior? first, the difference.  fixie bikes are basically bicycles without a freewheel mechanism.  that means that if you stop pedalling, the bike would also stop.  no coasting with these bikes. now for the loaded question. it would depend on what you are really looking for.  some would say that fixed-gear bikes are not practical.  some would say that it is lightweight and makes for better riding.  some would say it's a challenge to learn and that's where its beauty lies.  i mean just look at this:   once you get to know the fixie bikes world just a little bit better, you would be asking yourself whether you should buy one or build one from the ground up.  the thing is, it would again depend on what you really want.  there are several reasons why buying one ready to ride is the better option.  but then again, there are also several reasons why building your own is the bet
